An Overview of The TN Card
The TN Card is a community-driven rewards scheme celebrating independent businesses. Founded in 2022 by Jess Gibson, the initiative offers members discounts, offers, and exclusive perks across Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, and several expanding areas. It also includes Southborough, Tenterden, Westerham and Crowborough. Members can enjoy benefits at independent shops, cafés, restaurants, hotels, venues, and family destinations.
How we helped
Our goal was to enhance the mobile app performance, expand key features, and improve the user experience across iOS and Android. Coding Sprint worked closely with The TN Card to address existing issues. We also introduced new tools to support a growing member base. Our developers updated logos, colour palettes, splash screens, and app-store assets to maintain a consistent modern look across iOS and Android.
Offline accessibility improvements
Members often struggled to retrieve their digital cards and QR codes in areas with weak connectivity. We enhanced offline access to essential assets. This allowed users to redeem benefits even without internet access.
Push notifications
We introduced push notifications to boost engagement with community events. The push notification options would alert members when new events go live and are available for registration.
Enhanced directory filters
Family-friendly and dog-friendly businesses are an important part of the TN Card community. We added new filters to help members quickly identify places that suit their needs.
