The Organised Mum was founded in 2019 by Sunday Times Bestselling author Gemma Bray. As a new mother trying to manage a busy home, Gemma created a practical routine that allowed her to stay on top of daily cleaning in just 30 minutes a day. This approach later became The Organised Mum Method, a structured system that breaks household tasks into manageable steps with dedicated deep-clean sessions each week.
How we helped
Coding Sprint provides ongoing technical support to ensure the stability, performance, and long-term reliability of The Organised Mum app. Our role includes maintaining the app framework, supporting new enhancements, and enabling the client to deliver a smooth experience for users on both iOS and Android. Our Approach
We collaborated with The Organised Mum to enhance their outdated admin panel and improve overall maintainability. Through structured reviews and targeted planning, we ensured the new system aligned with the client’s operational needs.
Need
The existing admin panel was running on outdated software and could only be accessed through Firefox. As the user base grew, limitations became more noticeable, and the team needed to rely heavily on developers for even routine updates. The Organised Mum required a more flexible, user-friendly admin system to manage the app effectively.
Solution
Coding Sprint recommended rebuilding the admin panel using .NET, replacing the older AngularJS interface. A Functional Specification Document (FSD) was created to outline requirements, define features, and present visual mockups for approval. Once confirmed, we delivered the panel in structured phases, ensuring full transparency and predictable timelines.
Outcome
The updated admin panel gives The Organised Mum far greater control over user management, content updates, and subscription handling. Their support team can now resolve most issues independently, reducing reliance on technical intervention and allowing internal resources to focus more on marketing and future development.
