An Overview of Bring My Drink
Bring My Drink is a mobile app for ordering drinks at live music venues. It was created for AT Music Group, a business started by musician and studio owner Matt Green.
The app is made for grassroots music venues. People go there to watch the gig, and nobody wants to miss part of the show or lose their spot while waiting at the bar.
AT Music Group wanted to help venues serve customers faster and sell more drinks. To do that, they needed two things. Guests needed a way to order from anywhere in the venue, and staff needed to see every order as soon as it came in.
The result is one connected system. Customers use the mobile app to choose a venue, look through the menu, and place an order. Venue teams use web panels to manage menus, track orders, and get each drink to the right person.
How we helped
Our team handled the full project, from wireframes (early page layouts) to launch. This covered design, mobile and web development, hosting setup, testing, and support after launch. The aim was simple: make ordering easier for guests and easier to manage for staff.
Built a Cross-Platform Mobile App
The app works on both iOS and Android from a single Flutter codebase, so one set of code runs on both. Customers choose their venue, mark where they are on the map, and order without moving.
Created Admin and Staff Web Panels
Built with Laravel, these panels let venues update menus, prices, opening hours and floor plans. Staff see new orders on a live dashboard, which updates on its own without refreshing the page.
Set Up Cloud Hosting and Staging
Our developers suggested a cloud hosting setup and created a secure staging environment, which is a private test version of the system. Every update was built locally first, then checked on staging before going live.
Technologies implemented
Bring My Drink uses a mobile and web technology stack chosen for speed and reliability. Flutter runs the customer app on iOS and Android and keeps it smooth, even on screens with more graphics. Behind the scenes, Laravel and MySQL handle orders, menus, and user data.
Project features at a glance
AT Music Group needed a system that could cope with busy event nights. Guests needed to order quickly, and staff needed simple tools to manage everything. The build focused on fast ordering, correct delivery, and easy venue management.
Cross-platform app for iOS and Android
Map pin-drop to show where the customer is
Social login with Google, Microsoft and Apple
Live order dashboard with colour-coded statuses
Venue menu and opening hours management
Order search and CSV export of past orders
Our Approach
Live events are busy, so we first looked at how an order moves from a guest’s phone to a staff member’s tray. Design came first, then development was done in clear stages. AT Music Group could see the progress at every step.
Need
AT Music Group needed a custom mobile app to help grassroots venues sell more and serve customers better. Guests had to be able to order from anywhere in the venue. Staff needed an easy way to receive, assign, and track orders in real time.
Solution
The design started with approved wireframes. After two rounds of feedback and a final sign-off, development began. The customer app was built with Flutter. Built with Laravel and HTML/CSS Admin and staff panels MySQL database to store menus, orders, and user data
New orders show up for staff straight away. Each one has a colour-matched order number, so staff can spot it quickly, and orders clear by themselves one minute after delivery. In a second phase, the team added venue opening hours, a zoomable floor plan and order status toggles.
Outcome
Guests can now order from where they are and get back to enjoying the gig. Venue staff use one web panel to manage menus, assign and track orders, and process payments. The platform was built to help venues improve customer service, make staff work smoother, and boost bar sales on busy event nights.
