Evolve Weight Loss is a UK weight management company that runs its programme through a network of franchisees. Members attend in-person group sessions, track their progress regularly and follow a structured plan aimed at lasting lifestyle change rather than quick fixes.
Growth brought a practical problem. Every new location meant more groups, more members and more payments to manage, and the old way of handling things couldn't keep up. Head office needed reliable figures, franchisees needed a clear view of their own groups, and members needed a smoother experience.
The business wanted one system that could hold all of this together and keep pace with its expansion plans.
How we helped

Our Approach
The project started with understanding how a franchise weight loss business runs from week to week, and where existing processes were slowing people down. The goal was to build software around the way the business already worked, so the team wouldn’t have to change their processes to suit a ready-made tool.
Need
Evolve Weight Loss had outgrown a patchwork of disconnected processes, many of which still depended on manual input. Head office wanted a firmer grip on figures and standards across the network, group leaders wanted a clearer picture of their members, and the member experience needed fewer rough edges as the business grew.
Solution
Coding Sprint developed a bespoke CRM using React.js, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL, containerised with Docker and connected through REST APIs. The platform brings member records, group scheduling, check-ins, weigh-ins, payments and reporting together, with separate experiences for super administrators, franchisees, staff and members. The architecture was also planned with future AI features in mind, such as predictive member retention insights, automated reporting and smarter scheduling.
Outcome
Evolve Weight Loss now runs its franchise network from one central platform. Day-to-day member management is simpler, franchisees can track how each of their groups is doing, and head office gets dependable figures on performance, revenue and growth. Admin time has come down, processes are more consistent across the network, and the business has a foundation ready for new locations and more members.
